What is so great about bars?

My favorite bar has a nice atmosphere, and wicked cocktails that require ingredients that I don't keep at home. It has good food too. It's stimulating. I go there with a friend, and we chat and eat and drink. I occasionally talk to someone sitting at the bar. It's pleasant.
