Which formula worked best for your child?

When my son was little he was on a soy Neosure, and then he was switched to an organic lactose free formula. Formula has changed in the last 8 years. I am pregnant with a baby girl, and she will be formula fed. Which formula worked best for yoru child? And please no posts regards breast feeding, thank you.
