Why is my skin peeling?

,i got a sunburn,but when my old skin started peeling,i guess the new skin under was fresh skin,so its really shiny,it looks like patches of oily skin on m forehead,but of course its not actually oily,it is the squeaky clean kind of shiny,so what can i do to hide it or make it stop
