Should I trade in my 2007 Chevrolet Impala for a Used Toyota Prius? Details Please!?

The batteries on the Prius are warrantied for 10 to 15 years (depending on your state) Battery problems are very rare, nonexistent with newer models. There are aftermarket packs for older cars that run around $2,000, hardly a horror story you hear from the uninformed crowd all the time. The Prius is one the lowest cost of ownership per mile of all the cars sold today. Price of gasoline will continue to climb, I think getting the Prius is a good idea.
