Well, I actually think you're right to leave this guy alone. At 24 years old, he really shouldn't be into playing games. It is quite possible that he likes you but it is also possible that he is just so immature that he doesn't realize it yet. At this point, I would cut off all contact with him, lick my wounds and move on to better guys. You sound like a caring and wonderful person and you deserve to be happy. I'm sure that you'll find the right guy. In fact, you may find that he suddenly comes back in your life at a later time when he's able to commit and act more mature. Until then, don't pine away waiting enjoy yourself, have fun and trust that you'll find someone more suitable because you will.
