I am 42 years old and have been sick for the last 3 years. I continue to get worse and am now disabled. Drs dont know what to do and have given up on me. Friends and family do not care. I have no family of my own. I am in constant pain

Okay you guys. This is serious.i live in the desert hot heat,I was in my pool with no sunscreen or anything! I got a huge sunburn all down the front of my body! Even on my shoulders. It hurts to put any clothes on or lay down. The other day I went walking with my friend and I took off my shirt and noticed that I had little bumps everywhere down the front of my body! They looked like they were full of air! It was gross! And then I went to sleep and woke up peeling like a snake! Its totally gross and I want to stop the peeling cause its making my body look worse with like pink scabs and its just nasty. Any ideas???

Sunburn aloe vera problem?

Aloe actually is only temporary, it dries your sunburn out faster than it would normally without anything on it. I advise using a lotion with aloe extract in it, that's what I do and I'm VERY VERY white, I can literally get a sunburn in 5 minutes and I'm very prone to them so I use aloe lotion.. It feels a lot better on sunburns anyways.

I got this cream from the dermatologist (it's new and stronger than my older one) and I had just gotten it, and put on a little bit then put on face sunscreen and went outside for a garage sale my family was doing then went outside and swam in my pool. So I have been at the beach andwater park these past 3 or 4 days and my face is a little bit red, but I think my burn is worse. I have a cat whose about 10 months old and he's terrified of balloons. They don't have to be helium balloons, just regular size balloons filled with air. Is ProActiv sunscreen sweatproof?

I have a job that usually requires me to work outside some of the time, and I got sunburned once so after that I started using ProActiv sunscreen, and it works pretty well. However, while working outside, especially on hot, humid days like today was and tomorrow will be (maybe less humid), I sweat a lot, and I keep wondering if my sunscreen is coming off, especially when I wipe my face. So, does anyone know if ProActiv's sunscreen is sweatproof (at least as much as it can be, since no suncreen is 100%)?

i would say laying out in the sun for a couple of hours a day, make sure to put sunblock on so you wont get red. Or just get a spray tan

Last last sunday I had a sunburn that was really bad i mean like super itchy, super painful and red,I then put aloe vera on it and everything Last friday my skin started to really peel super much but the thing is most of my sunburn is on my shoulders and back, yes i have peeled the majority off but the the thing is there's still like a big chunk are on my mid section on my back area that makes it look like I have half tan skinned and half white skin and it's disgusting. Leave the blister on your nose alone. Sunburn is still a burn and has to be treated like any other burn. You need a much higher SPF than 15. It will go away or break open and could scar your nose but I wouldn't worry too much about that. Leave it alone or it will scar! It will probably hurt worse in the next few days. You could try a cool vinegar and water bath to help with the discomfort.

I have a first degree burn on my face (from a sunburn), will it scar?

The same thing happened to me about 10 years ago. Unfortuately, you will have some minor scars from it. The area under my eyes and across my ch!!eeks look like burnt turkey skin and it has left my skin looking very aged. I would definitely start with the Bacitracin and then use bio-oil after the peeling of the skin has occurred. I would also make an urgent appointment with a dermatologist to assess the damage and get him or her to prescribe something to help with the damage now. Good luck.

Is the balloon a latex or Mylar one. If it is the Mylar (plastic like and shiny) then you can insert a strong plastic straw into the opening until it is about an 1 1/2 inches past the wide area, and this will let the helium out. If it is the latex kind then you would need to very carefully undo the knot. You would need to be sure that you do not make any kind of holes in it. I have never tried to undo the knot on a latex balloon, but I have been able to deflate a Mylar one. Good luck.

Yesterday I went to the beach and heavily applied sunscreen so I wouldn't get burned. Should I use a tanning bed I got a little sunburned in but for less time?

The first day I went to a tanning salon I used it for 5 minutes in a standing one and I saw no results. The second time I was in the standing one for 8 minutes and had a slight tan line (barely anything) The third day I tried a laying down one for 8 minutes and got slightly burned on the back of my legs but it was barely noticeable and I got a little tan. The 4th day I tried a different tanning bed for 9 minutes and got sunburnt on my chest pretty badly, but everywhere else was tan. What is this reaction I get after laying out in the sun?

For the past few summers, I've noticed that if I remain out in the sun for a few hours one day or over the course of two days, I develop a blotchy rash in the place of what should be sun burn, even when I use sun block. In the areas that I am tan, I do not have this reaction. The rashes I get on my body are mostly on my back, chest, and stomach. They are severely itchy and sting much worse than normal sunburn when they are scratched. I am 18 years old with a very fair skin tone. I do not tan very easily. I have experienced this issue for the last few years. Can someone please explain why this happens to me, what should be done to prevent it, and how to treat it when it happens?

Hey guys, I was at the public pool with a couple of friends today, foregot to put on sunscreen and went in the water. I have super sensitive skin, and have a history or getting a chemical burn, but once I feel it getting hot I get out, and wash my face, and don't get back in. Okay, a friend of mine has Lupus, and she gets sunburned very easily.... I know that someone who has lupus is very sensitive to sunlight, so that's not my question.
