After popping a water blister, would it help to put A&D Ointment on the area?

I popped the 3 main blisters I got from a sunburn and I don't want to have scars after wards or anything. I also want them to start closing up and healing. Would A&D Ointment (the stuff you put on tattoos to help them heal) do that for me?
