Does going to a community college for 2 years and then transferring to a university affect yoru future pay?

i think that a person who did very well in high school, got 4.0 GPA etc and went to a very good 4 year university will get higher pay than someone who got poor marks because they slacked off, went to community college, changed their attitude there, but they will still get a lower pay?
